I’ve been terrible at posting WIPs, but here’s proof that I do save them out frequently!

We just had to do a copy of a Max Brödel carbon dust piece in Photoshop, and I chose this awesome heart. Mind you, I’m no digital painter. But I sure tried! This is really only the second painting I’ve ever done, and I could have continued to nitpick it for hours/days/months, but alas…it’s the end of the semester and it was time to move on.

So here’s a little animation of how I got to my final piece. Kind of fun, right?

(I think it’s obvious that I haven’t really gotten my workflow down yet…)
