For my independent study last semester, I had the pleasure of working with the wonderful Donna Hughes on two projects – developing my identity and designing the UI for my upcoming game. I figured I’d post a preview of one of the screens. This is the audio options menu:

I really wanted to be able to use some of my concept art for backgrounds in the menu, so the idea is to have these slightly animated (particle effects and the like) to give a sense of motion through the whole thing. The glass portions of the icons will kind of dance, things will glow…it’ll be fun. Here, the audio level will decrease as the chain shortens, and the number on the icon will dynamically change. (We’ll see if I can get that script to work. hah.)
